I recently purchased a 99 lariat with a siezed 5.4 triton. I have fond a good running 98 5.4 triton for a great price, but some of the specs I have found say it is a different generation and some say it is the same. Does anyone know if there is a difference between these two years?

 

98 has non PI heads. 99 has PI heads.
You could use the 98 but it will have less power and you will need a tune for the computer.
