They are great for spares in case something does happen.
Been there, done it, I needed one of the old one's for about month +. (let's leave it at that)
Why would you need to keep extra's ? What could possibly go wrong with Uneek coils ?

If that's not contradictive, I don't know what is.

You buy 10 packs in case you get a DOA, which can happen with anyone or if you loose one in the future, which eventually will happen anyway. 10 packs are cheap.

Brew, you know as well as I do, that all things are not made perfect. That is why you keep the old ones for spares. I didn't mention in my post the problem I had with Global COP's. I also keep my old ones for spares to help out someone in need if they only need one, like my buddy AJ who owns his own shop and is working on an ASAP job. Favors like that go a long way for me and AJ. You and I have 2 ways of thinking on this matter and I respect yours but you should respect mine as well. For anyone wondering, Because of this theory of buying a V10 pack, I contacted the owner of Uneeksupply (over a month ago) and told him that some ppl feel more comfortable buying 10 COP's to have 2 spares and now he is selling the package for a little better price than Global with cheaper shipping. He didn't understand the logic behind it either but is doing it anyway's. If you can't find a V10 auction, email him and he will put 10 together and put it up for auction right away.
Not a contradiction in terms, but a reality of auto electrical components.
I know the extra 2 COP's are not that much more to spend, just a difference in opinions.

The logic is being prepared, plain and simple as stated - For now and in the future. Some like to do that and some don't.

So far, to date, there have been no reported failures with the Uneeks. Is it posssible, for sure it is, but I don't understand buying 2 extra COP's from a company when you do not have to. Buy 10 to get 8, just in case.
Soooo - I guess this doesn't count anymore ? Your no longer confused ?

Because the real problem here - Globals slipping on their customer service and tjk gotta bad one. Didn't we go thru all this once? I thought I won that one.?
