IAC Brand

No one seems to mention which IAC brand seems to be better. Local parts here only stock BWD's. Anyone had bad luck with these?

Your thinking of the DPFE sensors. I purchased an IAC from Rock a couple years ago and had no problems. As far as I know - Nobody sells bad ones.

Cleaning the IAC didn't fix the idle up problem I'm having when going into gear, so I put a new one on tonight. Helped a little bit. Now it is staying at higher idle for longer at cold start up like it should. Borrowed a friends vac tool and did the suck test on the egr. Its working too. Anyone have any more ideas to try?

Yep did the PCM relearn. Its some better. Idles and runs great. Park to reverse or drive, and before it goes into gear it will idle up 300 rpm's causing a pretty rough clunk.
