Replacing stock plug wires.

Hey guys, what brand would you recommend getting to replace the stock plug wires?

My truck has 125K+ and im still running stock, and the idle is a bit rough, plus the start up it getting kind crummy after sitting for a few hours. I replaced the sparks last spring, but the wires looked ok, so I left them.

Any suggestions?

You could try an aftermarket wire, but i would stick with motorcraft wires. Mine did that exact same thing after replacing the plugs. So i did the wire 4 weeks later, it runs great now.

Wires are only good for 130k miles or so.

I've had Accel wires on for a couple of years, and they work fine. I'm about to switch to Ford Racing 9mm.

Yea, wires will fix your troubles. Go with Motorcraft wires. I made the mistake of going with the duralast wires and there was always one that would not stay on the plug. VERY annoying! I buy OEM now.

I change my plugs every 60k miles, and, even if the wires look good, they get replaced. I never just replace plugs only.
