Idling at stop light, light turned green, let off of brake, engine died, oil light or oil temp came on. Was driving the truck for 30 mins prior. Started right back, pulled over n checked oil. It was fine. .

CTC- Engine died, oil light came on. That's what I would expect, wouldn't you?

 

I've never had the oil light come on when it died before.

 

was the light on after you restarted it?

 

no. I guess it does make sense now, but I have never ever seen that light, so I panic
