4.6 vs 5.4
Hey all! Just joined! I have an 1998 F-150 with a 4.6L vin6 in it. The engine is junk. Can I replace it with a 5.4L coming out of a 2000 F-350! I was told that everything would match, computer and all! I just wanted to hear from an expert!

It has to have the same transmission as yours, because you want to use the computer for the 5.4. Also, the engine is wider than a 4.6 and may require exhaust modification (not sure). It will physically bolt right in, though.
