2000 4.6L idle problem

I have a 2000 f150 4.6L with 145K miles on it. It stalls at stop lights and at very low speeds. It idles fine in park and neutral, but dies when in drive (or reverse). I've cleaned the IAC valve but am still experiencing the problem. I've searched this forum and plan to clean the TB tomorrow, but just figured I'd ask in hopes someone might recognize these symptoms and point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Probably need to replace the IAC.

You can - Change fuel, Check fuel pressure, Clean MAF sensor, Check air filter and check the EGR valve.

Clean the TB and elbow (all ports). Check the PCV system. All could contribute.

Chances are, you just need a new IAC valve tho.
