Well instead of making a new thread i thought id dig this one up.

My mileage has taken a HUGE DUMP and am wondering what i can do about it

Well some of you know me some of you dont.

Driving a 2002 f150 with 104k on it.

Ive done a bunch of things to her since ive gotten it becuase of this forum and the guys on hear, you know who you are.

and its running better then it has ever before.

Things ive done:
1: Changed all plugs with motorcraft and new Global COPS
2: Cleaned MAF
3: Cleaned TB and IAC (other piece of the TB)
4: Fuel Filter
5: Tranny filled not flushed
6: Differentials filled
7: Brake fluid filled
8: New brake pads and rotors on front
9: as i think of them ill keep it updated.

Things that probley should be done
1: Front o2's
2: flush transmission
3: flush radiator

What else can i do thats relatively easy and cheap? Like cleaning certain things on the engine, replacing things and what not, i just want her to run like a top, ya know?

Or do you think that i got the engine running good enough that its time for exhaust and a tuner?
-----------------------------------------

What should i do really that i havent done

i really should change my 02's and maybe totally replace my iacv

i mean im not even gettin 200 miles a tank and im not WOTin it at all, i mean i have a heavy foot but... ya know, ive heard of people gettin 350+ with my year truck what gives?

how big is your gas tank? is that just city driving? the o2's may make a difference with that. plus warm weather is coming(hopefully) so it should go up a little bit because you wont be letting your truck warm up so much. about how many miles a day do you drive?

i know driving about 4 miles a day made a huge difference with my truck. i was getting about 11-12 average back home around town. here in mooresville nc i'm only getting no more than 8. but i can still get 23 on the open road. so alot depends on where you drive.

I believe i have the 25gal tank and ill fill up when the light pops on or sometimes even before that.

Depending on how cold it is ill let the truck warm up for 3-10min

This tank its been all city but even the tank before i took a 200mile trip and it wasent what it use to be...

Daily i probley drive about 20 miles a day? maybe.. but eveytime i do take a ride somewhere the truck fully warms up and drives perfect.

I guess ill just wait till the winter blend goes bye bye

alot of it may be the ethonal in the fuel. its been causing fuel mileage to drop enough to hurt the wallet.
