OK, this is my fist post so heres the deal....

I have a set of 3v heads P/N 5r3z6049A/B for an 06 F150 loaded with cams, valves etc brand new. Will these fit an 04 F150 with the 3v heads? Iv'e checked ALL-Data and the part # IS different but I cant figure out why. I have a guy that wants to purchase them for an 04 5.4 3v but I don't want to sell him something that wont work.
From what I have gathered so far is that the ONLY difference is the spark plug threading.


Please ANY help is appreciated!!!

 

There was a change from 2004 to 2005+, but I forgot what exactly. I think the cams and lash adjusters are different.
