how long do the cops last? i spray the salt and dirt off engine with garden hose will this shorten their life thank you

 

water will fry them. you dont want to use water to clean your engine. if you clean it then you'll need something to cover all of them up. other than that they could last a long time. as long as you keep up with tuneups and preventive maintenance then you'll be good.

 

Ford tech told me not to use water on the engine water gets into the plug area and will cause misfires....
