93 F150 engine swap ???

93 F150 engine swap ???
Just bought a 93 F150. 300 ci 6 cylinder and 5 speed. What small V8 engines will drop right in and fit my motor mounts and bell housing?

any windsor motor will bolt up to your bellhousing but no matter what your going to have to get different motor mounts.

I'm looking at an older 289 0r 302 from a Mustang or something like it. Are the motor mounts bolt in or do I have to weld then in? I haven't done anything like this in decades.

go for a stroker 351W, something like the 408 or 427 is nice
