Strange Whistling noise?
Hey guys,
My cousin has a 2004 f150 4x4 with 45,000 and 4.6 V8. A few months ago he noticed a strange whistling noise coming from under the hood. We popped the hood and it sounds like its coming from the throttle body. It happens when the rpms go above 2000 and the noise only lasts for a second or two then goes away. It hasn’t caused any performance issues just gets annoying after a while. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.:.
