Question What's a good sparkplug to use in 2005 F150

Hi everybody , just read all about the problems with sparkplug breakage in the 3 valve f150's . I only have 10,000 miles on my 2005 Screw and am thinking of taking a little preventive maint. by replacing my plugs before they get a chance to get carboned up and break on me. What would be a good new spark plug to use , that does not have the issue of falling apart

Tom

Personally, I feel the problem is overworked. You can spend a lot of money changing them out to the Champion one piece, but there have been some problems with those bracking down after a few thousand miles, plus they are expensive. My belief is that if you always run a gas with a good detergent, such as Shell, Chevron, Texaco, Conoco, Phillips 66 and a few others and follow the TSB explicitly, they will come out. That means, have the heads at the right temp, use the correct carb cleaner, ect, you have little trouble. The tech at my dealer has successfully removed plug with up to 133,000 miles on them. I had mine changed at 65,500 and went back with Motorcraft. I plan on 100,000 this time.

Should one break, there are now tools to extract them.
