Odometer Mileage Help

I guess this is where this should go. I know you can get a programmer to recalibrate the odometer but thats expensive. Right now i just want to figure out how many miles are on my truck. I seem to rember a while ago that there was a calculation you could use to figure it out. Can anyone help? My stock tires were 235/70/17 and my new tires are 285/70/17. I got them put on at around 19500. Right now i have about 23300. Thanks for anything

I've heard that too and I definitly need to call a few more dealers. Can they calibrate it to where the miles should be or do they only fix it so it works from then on??

The csn only correct it so its accurate now. how tall are your old tire how tall are the new ones? I would say if the old ones were 27.5 inches and the new are 31 add 10 percent that would put you close. so if you went 20000 miles add 2000.
