lack of power

i'm experiencing a lack of power mostly at higher end of gear range and higher rpms in my 93 f150 4x4 w/ 5.0 liter engine. i've replaced fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and coil. i also have a definite miss @ idle. also, revs fine @ idle. any suggestions on where to look next?

figure out what cylinder is missing (you can remove the plug wire for each plug until you pull one that doesnt make it miss) put the wire back on remove the injector for that cylinder and trade it for a different one. If it isnt that do a compression test. or you could do the compression test first.

I think you have the same injectors as my britherinlaw he found cheap replacements at NAPA and it made a huge differance replacing them all. For the price I would do it anyway.

i'm kind of a rookie when it comes to fuel injection. what's the technical difficulty of replacing injectors on a scale of 1 to 10?

About a 2 if you can change your own spark plugs You just loosen the fuel rail its 2 or 3 8mm (I think) bolts, disconnect the leads and just pull the fuel rail off the top some injectors will come with the rail some will stay in the intake. Just pull them all out and make sure you can account for all the o rings. Sometimes they get stuck in the rail or intake. Get your overhauled injectors and new orings. Put the new orings on the injectors and put a little oil or dielectric grease on the orings and push the injectors into the intake when all are installed just push the fuel rail back on and attach the bolts and harness. thats it

Doesn't the 93 5.0 has one side of the fuel rail under the upper intake manifold?

yeah, it looked likr to me i would have to pull the throttle body and manifold to access the injectors on the right side. today i checked fuel pressure and it was perfect. i pullrd #1 spark plug wire and it didn't seem to affect the idle at all so it seems like that might be where the miss is. i've got to go out of town to work for ten days so as soon as i get back i'll do the compression check. any hints on where to find injectors? i checked @advance, auto zone & napa . the first two were just under $60 each. napa quoted $105 for rebuilt & $119 for new. i'm guessing they don't sell alot of them. anyway, thanks for the help, guys.
