I have a problem I hope someone can help with. I have a 2000 supercab, 5.4, 250,000. I have a coolant leak at the crossover that goes from one side of the engine to the other and also goes to the heater core. After buying the gaskets for both sides and taking what I thought were all the bolts I find out that there is 1 bolt that feeds from underneath on the side where the heater line is. This is also were the leak is.What i believe has happened is that bolt has loosened a bit causing the leak. The is a bolt in the front that feeds from the bottom also and when it is tight you see about 3/16 of it sticking up. The one in back you don't see at all. That is why I did not realize there was one there. The problem after all this is How do I get to that bolt? Do I pull the valve cover or something else. I will try to take a picture to make it easier to see.Thanks to everyone on this site. I have found alot of answers to questions I had by reading the forums.
