oil filter question

oil filter question

I have a 2005 F150 with the 4.6L V8. The factory part number is Motorcraft FL-820-S

I want to buy a better filter but can't find ANYWHERE that states wheter it is METRIC or STANDARD thread and am getting very frustrated. can you guys help me out?

The thread is metric, M22-1.5.

For street use, you'd be hard pressed to find any better than the Motorcraft.

This guy has done quite a bit of research

Motorcraft oil filters are one of the best quality filters on the market.

I like the k&n, pricey but the nut on the end makes changing a snap

EXCELLENT choice!! Motorcraft is absolutely a great filter for the money, but there is better out there, and you have chosen wisely. EaO11 is the filter for your truck if you haven't already figured it out.

Mobile 1 M1-210 is a good filter also. Made by champion labs ( same company that makes the k and N).
