Last I remember, ruslow has the fastest F150. (180+ MPH)

Last I remember, Ralph has the quickest F150. (7.?? seconds)

There are a butt-load of daily driven Lightnings that run 10's in track trim and quite a few that run 9's too.

Nowadays, if you can't run a 10, you ain't competitive.

Fastest is a can of worms. I'm not going to built my truck to be faster then anyone elses in particular, however I want 20 lbs of boost from my whipple and it will be faster then some, and slower then others, either way I'd be happy for a while.

Wen I got to the end of the 1/4, I looked in the rearview. They had turned the lights out and everyone was going home.
I even ad time to eat along the way.

But I can still take the amish buggy or the nun

Ok, I see where you're coming from but the Harley Davidson is not an SVT vehicle. Some of the L guys get a little touchy if you claim it is

I've got no idea what time DblG has ever run. He's not on the NHTOC list.
Not saying it might not be fast but I've never seen a timeslip.

it uses SVT suspension and drive train so I class it as an SVT vehicle

Ha ha, we've kind of gone of subject here but I'd just like to clear this up for any interested parties.

The HD model has 1" lower front springs than a stock truck. The rest of the suspension is pure Supercab.
The L has stiffer Bilstien shocks all round, F250 front brakes and a rear anti-roll bar which makes it different (and SVT).
The drive train is broadly similar. Same rear axle, same 4R100 box and same engine except the supercharger pulley is a larger diameter (3.19" vs 2.93") and a slightly fatter tune.
This gives the HD 2 lbs less boost and 40 less horsepower than the L in stock form.
The Lightning came with an individual build certificate from SVT unlike the HD which just has the run number on the center console plaque.
So, the HD model is just a Scab with a fancy interior and a detuned L engine really. It was an appearance package and not much else.

Still wouldn't change mine though

Does the HD use a different Blower than the L? Have heard that they are different.

Different color and different top pulley. Same blower!

Just to add, the early L blower has a different bolt pattern to the later ones.
The HD blowers (02/3) were all the "late" style. That might be what you heard.
Also, as mentioned, the blower fitted to the L has SVT cast into the snout whereas the HD version was blank.
Still the same though as Phil says except for the pulley dia.
