I figured they were 33" tires?? (285's was my guess..) But, I do like that look a whole bunch better then something lifted to the stars with those 'wagon wheel' wheel/tire combos on them!

Is this "6.2L" engine just a bigger displacement 5.4? Now, I'd like to have one of those to TOW with!

Nah, those are 35's , they confirmed in the video - BF's I think.

The 6.2L their calling a Boss Motor. Not sure what's boss ? I guess that would be the numbers it makes - 400hp and 400 + ftlbs.

TOW with ? Hell, you could pull tree trucks from the ground or maybe move the neighbors house further down the block. - Now I have to have it, it's versatile

I think they went above and beyond with this truck and I mean that in a good and a bad way. It is nice they put that much R&D into the truck but I think the prices is going to be so high that the people that could afford it will not realy uses it for other then a show peice or mall crawler. I would have rather then them go a route like dodge did with the Power Wagon, hell if the would have just put a solid axle under the front it would have been nice. If they would have put that much money inot the lightning I would probibly have bought one insted of my truck.

The main intent of this truck is to be a high speed off roader, able to take high speed ruts & bumps @ 90 MPH! Your solid front axle design would fall out of the truck in no time with that kind of abuse!............

i agree w/ risupercrewman... Independent front suspensions have been proven to do better in desert offroading than solid front axles. despite all the bitching about IFS on this site, and elevation of SFA, IFS does have some advantages over SFA suspension.

Then why does everyone who wants to take a 3/4 ton truck and run baja that does not have an endless budget run dodge and ford with SFA. Now I understand why IFS is used with the high budget because of the amout of travel you can get. But how many of us have the money to go out and higher a race crew and go run baja where the truck is ment for. But the kinda off roading that I do in the woods and tight areas the flex of SFA would seem to benifet me more. Also they are cheaper and easer to lift. Not to mention as coil spring SFA truck can ride just as nice as ours. I just sucks that factorys put a crapy set of leaf springs under SFA and makes them ride like crap which makes IFS look good. If someone would take the time to make a good set of leaf springs it would not be as much of a problem. It is proven that you can get leaf sprung vehicles to ride nice, look at the 04 to 07 F150 which where told to be some of the best riding leaf sprung vehicles.

don't mean to take away from this site - but my friend who runs the Ford GT site also opened up the Raptor site.... It is frequented by SVT designers that work on the Raptor.

Nice site! But man, I can't believe some of those Fox racing questions lol. Fox has been around for decades - Hell, they were making piggy back (reservoir) shocks back in the 80's.

Moto-X-Fox is Fox, a family business. Maybe I should post that over there ehh.
