Alright looked and looked and looked. No sparks arching anywhere.

So in the next day or two ill try to complete:

Fuel pressure test and replace spark plugs, i can load the spark plug boots with dielectric grease again too. and go from there.

Wacko - what would be a good way to perform a resistance test?

You may have an internal seperation inside a plug wire that a small amount of electricity can jump, but under a load the wire is not capable of supporting more electricity for more spark. This is something that you can easily check with a DVOM and will save you from replacing perfectly good parts. As far as spark plugs cheap and easy to replace and rule out!

when you do your plugs make sure you use motorcrafts, denso or ngk. the modular engines dont always run very well with other aftermarket plugs.
