hi, i just bought an 07 screw with the 4.6 3v last week. what kinda mileage should i get out of this motor with proper care?


i know this is not a chevy forum but my company worktruck is a 98 z71 with 175k with no issues to date but a little oil comsumption.

this is my first ford and wonder how they compare.

 

u mean an 09 4.6 3v? because the 07's were still 2v motors and est gas mileage out of the supercrews is about 15-19

 

Unless he means 07 screw with the 5.4 3v ??

 

sorry i meant the 4.6 2v! i was misinformed.

well back to my question. i meant total mileage, 175k? 200k?

 

If properly maintained,,I don't see why you shouldn't get 300K + out of it!
