That's all I know
.. I have the one on the left pinned under the dash from the factory. Nothing connects to it..I seen that other one before, but I forgot where the damn thing goes.. When I seen it I was putting the stereo, amp and what not in the truck..

The one on the left might be the trailer brake connector. the other one, I got no clue.
My 97 has 2 connectors under the driver's side dash.
One is the trailer connector, but does anyone know what the other one is for?
On mine it's pinned to the edge of the dash at the bottom near the fuse box.

I figured it out...it connects about 3/4 of the way up the brake pedal arm...thanks for helping guys...sometimes i need to step away for a hour or so and then its much easier to see when you re-visit the problem. So tomorrow I will top off the coolant, hook up the heater hoses and see if all is good with my heater core replacement..wish me luck
I found it, took pictures, and was gonna upload them tonight when i got back.
Yup its for the brake pedal, not sure if its for the adjustable pedals or if its brake pedal switch, didnt look that closely.

Good job Patrick. Nice clear pics
.. Damn, that looks nice and neat under there. Ford installed a remote car starter and all I see under there is a ton of inline mini fuses. I can' believe how many there are - al-least a dozen and their everywhere. They did a good job on it, there's just so many. Your pick just looks like there's breathing room under there
I'm glad those fuses never blow, that would be fun finding the bad one.

Ah, so that's what's that for. That Kelsey Hays set up prolly plugs in there. Good to know.
I really want to get a proportional trailer brake setup.
I had one of those time delay controllers on my old truck and I hate it!
I have been looking at the Tekonsha Prodigy, but it seems to me that any controller that doesn't interface with the brakes system is going to have response delay issues.
Short of the newer F-series with the factory trailer brake setup, I guess the prodigy is the best way to go?
