MAS swap?

I found out my MAS is trashed. Obviously I have to replace it. I was looking at on the ACdelco makes brand new but before I go and drop cash on this unit, I was wondering if a stock mustang MAS will work from lime an 89? I know they are designed a little differently, which is fine, but if the harness plugs in the same and it reads the air the same way then I can get these mustang MAS for basically free.

Anyone have any ideas?
