Had a problem with engine oil pressure,and sounding like it was about to come apart.I have an 04 with 5.4 112000 miles. It happen after I had floored it to go around 18 wheeler, I pull a trailer most days so I don't blow it out very often. I checked oil it was not low. Limped to ford dealer to get checked out. Was told did not have the correct motorcraft oil filter, and the engine had sludge built up. Said they would have to tear down front of engine to check,$850.00 labor + parts could be $2000.00(timing chain,phasers etc. Any suggestions ?
