headers
guys been hanging around for awhile, have a 97 F150 with a blown 4.6 already picked up a 5.4 from a 2003 read everything I can from all of you about the swap - many thanks to all who share their knowledge and expertise.
I want to run headers on my swap, and notice on Ebay prices range from $140 to 399 or so for headers. What exactly should I be looking for in a good set of shorty headers? Stainless steel for durability, thicker flanges for long life, gaskets, and bolts included is there a brand that is a good value and high quality set of headers you guys recommend? Jim

HI!... Go long tubes. Shorties are a waste of money and time. Get stainless steel if you can, then get then Ceramic Coated. KOOKS in my opinion is the only way to go but they are expensive. About $900 for a set, but they are the best.
i have paceseter long tubes..only like $350 on ebay and never had a problem with them since...they are a little harder to install then shorties but you get a lot more power out of them..if u buy shorties you'll be dissapointed
