P0305 on my 2000 4.6 V8
P0305 on my 2000 4.6 V8
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
My truck started acting up day before yesterday. Put an OBD tester on it this morning and it shows a P0305. The OBD shows this as a #5 cylinder misfire.
The engine has 78K miles and has run great to this point.
Is the #5 cylinder on the passenger side or the drivers side of my engine?

The #5 is drivers side FRONT?
On V engines??
I was always under the impression that the cylinders rotated from left to right.
The most forward cylinder in the 4.6 V8 is the on the passenger side, so that would mean passenger side is numer 1, 3 5 and 7. Driver side cylinders would then be 2,4,6 and 8.
