nope, wasnt it either. . . snapped my idler pulley off trying to remove it also. . broke clean off the alum front cover. . . fawking great. .

 

Definately was not the brushes. I removed it and they both popped out. . .. BTW for other noobs, this is the only way to get them back in. . .





took me like .2 seconds to figure out to put mechanics wire in the hole to hold the brushes off, then pull wire out when all bolts are installed and you should hear two clicks
