tuners.?.?

i have a 1998 F150 3 door with a 4.6L and a auto tranny. i was wondering what tuners you use on this set up and what you think about the tuners you've used or tryed. im thinking about getting a edge evo or a X3 and wanted to know what every one with the 4.6L f150 thought of both tuners or any other tuners. thanks for any input.

the top picks seem to be gryphon and xcal2 and xcal3. you can get the edge and if you dont like it you can have www.powerhungryperformance.com make it a gryphon

what all can you tune with the edge? i know you can custom tune alot on the X3. i know when i put the X3 on a ford focus auto tranny it made it spin going into 2nd gear. will my f150 do that with the edge or would i have to get then X3 to get the kind of tunning for my tranny?

i have a factory f150 all i really want to do is a intake and true duals with a x pipe. and maybe some gears. i really want it to help my truck shift harder and to help it out in the 1/4 mile time so by what i just said what tuner would be best for me. im having a hard time deciding.

We have a dedicated Tuners forum. That's the best place to post with your questions.

I just tried that forum and didn't get any answers.. I was informed what tuner looks good - I could really care less about that

Get more answers here probably.. I'm just calling Mike.

run the "gotts intake", install a shift kit (factory tech or transgo), 4.10 gears and your planned exhaust mods and then get a custom tuned tuner. you will have similar results with diablo, Xcal2/3 and the gryphoon.

only you can decide what tuning device you want best thing to do is call VMP, Troyer, PHP and any other place and ask specific questions
