Higher RPM whine in 5.4

I have a problem that I haven't found any info about on the web. I have a whine coming from my 2004 5.4 (F150) engine. It only happens over 2500 RPM; that is the strange part. It sounds like it is coming from the front of the passenger side head, but there is also an idler pulley there and the tension pulley is just below. I would think that if it was a pulley, it would not consistently kick in at a specific RPM. I plan to check the pulleys anyway, but could this be a OHC problem? Any ideas are appreciated.

its probably just the belt or idler pulley... may even be the alternator.

Turns out it was the tension idler pulley. $22 and it was all better. Thanks for the insight
