2004 5.4L PCM trouble
Can anyone tell me how to remove the PCM in a 2004 F150 5.4L?
|
Uh...disconnect the three connectors and remove the four 10mm bolts holding it to the bracket on the firewall next to the battery.
But why do you want to remove the PCM? |
Long story short... I accidentally installed an edge programmer that was not set to mode zero. I took the truck to Ford, they say it is fried and want a grand to fix it. I am going to get the p/n off mine, find another one at a recycle yard or somewhere else, reprogram it and install it.
