Thumbs up Thanks to this forum!

Just sending a thanks to all who ever had a problem with the 5.4l having a misfire. Mine was diagnost with the #3 misfiring. I found this site and looked for a cheaper set of Coil On Plugs. I bought the ones on EBAY, Global Incorporated. I was going to change them out myself but I had an accident that ripped my rotator cuff in my shoulder. The dealer that I bought my truck from has done most of my maintenance on this truck. They are a used dealership with a full service facility. I called them to see what it would cost to replace my sparkplugs and ask them while they are in there could they install my new Coils. I know the mechanic and trust him. It took him all morning to get the plugs and colis changed, but now the truck runs like new. He gave me back my old parts. #3 coil had rust on it from water getting in there. The sparkplug was also rusted badly. I have about 73,000 miles and figured it was time to change the plugs anyway.

Again...thanks to all who posted the EBAY solution for the Coli On Plugs. They really do work well. The mechanic couildn't believe the price. He asked a lot about the coils since they had no marking on them and he wondered where I got them
