Starting HEAD Gasket job

I wanted to get a 5.4 and build it til the head gasket goes on the expy, but I will not have the financial backing and I cannot risk losing my engine when I do begin to work.

I have decided to tear off the passenger head and replace the gasket. I am going to hopefully start teardown today. This project doesnt need to be rushed, I have about two weeks on a loaner car.

WHAT WILL I NEED AND WHERE TO BUY???

What kind of head gasket?
Intake gaskets?
Where should I purchase my TTY HEAD bolts?
What should I expect to dish out for ALL the PARTS on this job??

I am doing it myself, any advise on dealing with the OHC part would be appreciated, I have never touched a OHC engine before!

THANK YOU

Let me know if you got everything. If g-mail doesn't provide the illustrations - In gmail you can forward mail to windows default email program - Outlook express, it's free and Outlook will open word docs. Heres how -

Worked just fine. Thanks again. I'm assuming for timing I just mark a particiular tooth n matching sprocket? And this cam tool, it just holds the cam for timing cause itll want to jump cause the rollers and such?

Not sure, someone else will have to answer. I haven't had the heads off my truck yet. Haven't needed head-gaskets - knock on wood.
