I have a 1997 f150 4x4 with the 4.6 and it blew a head gasket and locked up in a hydrolock. I am wanting to get a 5.4 and put it in instead of the stock 4.6...i would like to know if this will work? Wiring harnes/ computer? and will it mount to the stock tranny? I'm wanting more power, well more torque...i do most my driving from 0-60 alot...hardly any highway. I just use the truck to race around town and pull trailers here and there. Any help would be great!

it will bolt right up..but you should get a 5.4L harness as well or there will be alot of tuning involved
