PCM change

Hi,after plugging the OBD i read "DTC P2006".

It seems like it would be the PCM.

Is it easy to change?Do i have to change the key and the ignition lock cylinder?

what do i have to take care about?

Thx

P2006 has nothing to do with the PCM, at least at first. It indicates that the bank 1 runner control is acting up; you may have to remove the intake manifold to inspect the linkages that go to the IMRC actuator.

Yeah quintin that's what i did but it's the PCM that control the CMCV.

So if the CMCV is ok it can only be the PCM,right?

I checked the linkages that open and close bank1 & bank2 and they are ok,that's what i'm not understanding,it has no sense. If bank 2 opens, bank 1 MUST open!!!

I ordered a new CMCV and will change as soon as i get it and let you know.

If you have any other ideas.....

Thx for your answers.
