Truck cuts off when slowing down

My 2004 F-150 cuts off when I slow down. The emission light has been on for a few days, and every now and then when I slow down the car "coasts" and I have to stop and restart it. The battery light also comes on and it says "check gauges". Any thoughts of what it could be???

Error code is P0506- Idle Speed higher/lower than expected

The battery light is always going to come on when the engine stalls.

The most likely cause of this problem is a dirty or faulty throttle body. You have an electronic throttle control and no IAC.
