Sorry for the highjacking, but.......
Normally the job would have been $5400.00 + new parts.
New parts = new cab corner, new rockers on both sides, new tailgate, new nerf bars, new Ford bed bolts (kit). Keep in mind, if you have an ext. cab with the 3rd door, the only way to buy the passanger side rocker is from Ford and you have to buy the entire door frame (top of door to complete rocker panel) at a cost of $680.00 That stung a bit because all they used was the rocker portion of the the door frame panel. I have the rest stored in my barn in case someone needs to buy the upper portion. I might throw it on Ebay and get some of my money back.
Anyway, the guy who did the work, is a good friend and he charged me 1/2 and I supplied the parts. Total = $4200.00.
He and his best body guy stripped the truck down to Cab and frame only.
Worked all the parts individually, including some cutting, welding and sandblasting, and then painted them individually. He didn't cut any corners or go cheap anywhere. Came out awesome.

I just noticed it because My buddy did the same thing when he put his on last year. I laughed, but it was a pain in the *** to get them off and then take the 2 sided 3M tape off to replace it and get them back on. If the shop did it, get them to switch them because it's not fun.
Wanna know the sad part, I asked my 12 year old son to look at it this afternoon and he laughed and said, "ye, they put them on backwards"
Can not believe I didn't notice.:o
They will be changing them around as soon as I can get the truck back there.
My worry is ppl seeing my truck and saying....
" hey look at the dumb*** who put his louvers on backwards"
