Ive begun to notice a wierd noise my engine makes at highers rpms. You cant hear it unless your wide open on the throttle and pushing 3,500 - 4,000 RPMs or so. The best way to describe it is like a Snap* Crakle* Pop* of a bowl of Rice Krispies except louder lol. The truck has 31,000 miles on it and I get regular oil changes. Any thoughts as to what it might be? Im running an S&B Intake and Roush Exhaust.

Spark knock? Try a tank of premium gas, if it goes away, that's what it is.

 

I was running premium already - I put in a bottle of STP fuel system cleaner and it all but dissapeared.
