Problem When Trying To Start!
He is not in the wrong thread, he contributed a great diognosis that happends to be relevant to the situation, if you read a few posts back it says it causes crank issues. CRANK/STARTER

The concerns I posted are real and can cause a crank no start. It's been a real problem so don't completely dismiss. That sucks that the OP never updated the thread. Symptoms the OP posted is what I was going on. I didn't realize the thread was 2 months old.

They use a high torque geared starter motor. Virtually every manufacturer does now. Nothing wrong with that. The starters used to be almost all direct drive, so it needed a larger starter. That type of starter will generally last longer without problems (worn brushes or bushings) than the larger starters they used to use.

Have you seen the size of that starter? When mine did the same thing, I replaced it with an aftermarket and the truck has started great ever since. My motorcycle has a bigger starter!
