msd coils

are the msd coils for the 04-07 4.6l any good? i think they are about $380 for a full set and was just wondering if its worth the money. i already have intake, UD pullies, efans, catback, headers and troyer tunes so im running out of bolt ons

they are good but theres no point in getting them. you'd never get your moneys worth out of them. they send a stronger spark but you wont notice but 2 hp if that. plus you can get globals on ebay for $10 each from what i here. and if you do change them out then do a tune up while your there with motorcraft plugs.

last time I checked, global doesn't make any coils for my motor

Sure they do - the 4.6 up through at least 07 uses DG508's. It's the 5.4 3V cops that they don't carry.

yup. either way msd is good and its your money. you dont need anything special because you dont have any serious mods.
