Fuel pressure problem

Have 97 F150 with famous V6. have replaced FPR twice as the fuel pressure is way over 70 lbs and ruptures the diaphram. Does the fuel pump also have a regulator in it ??Does the crank sensor have any influence on fuel pressure...Really stumped on this one

HELP

Snoop

Here is a very good article with alot of information. If you have a return system and have a regulator thats keep bursting the diaphram you likely have a clog in the return line causing your pressure to be so high. Here is a good article you might find interesting. Hope some of this helps... http://www.aa1car.com/library/returnless_efi.htm
