Got something to back that up those claims?
I have heard of using a thing they have called an effy or something.
I am intrested in your information youhave before I kill my engine. But from what I understand there really is no need to cut back the fuel and lean the engine out. That the HHO just makes it burn more efficient.

Your mileage improves because you are cutting back the fuel and leaning out the mixture. That is where the Hydrogen comes in, using less fuel because the hydrogen helps it burn more efficiently. It is still a lean condition.
People have used resistors to change the range of the MAF sensor to trick the system. There is still lots of work to do before risking the investment you have in your truck.

a lot of the people getting gains on mpg without additional components other than the hydrogen generator are using non computer controlled engines - ie carbeurated motors

I agree. Iwould like to see one of the new hydrogen cars and see how they have that set up.

Thanks for the additional info now I think I'll just keep my KR the way it is, no need in hurting a good truck just was looking at improving if possible.

Further comments:
1. Most launch into this with no background understanding of the way it is intended to work, the power consumed from the alternator by this assembly, the volume of H produced, the effects in the combustion chamber and the content in the exhaust.
2. What results the motor is adjusted to by the presence of any additional reaction of the OX sensors, and the need to alter the program if it were to be of any help.
Leaness;
A. Once detected by the OX sensor, they will richen up the fuel. Any mileage gains there might have been is lost at that point.
B. The motor already runs lean at nearly 20 to 1 in cruise without any additional systems.
Side note; the ignition is already running on it's edge for coil voltage during cruise conditions. This is the 45-55 miss that occurrs when one coil has shorted turns. You cannot run the system any leaner without ignition problems and valve/piston/detonation and overheating risks.

Lastly, an addon device is not in control of the PCM system in any way but the system will react to it's presence by attempting to correct back to normal operation. In doing so it is possible to drive the PCM system into a fault code condition if any operating table goes out of normal tolerences built in by the software designer. (reference using E85 in a nonflex fuel truck) a CE lamp is usually the result after a few drive cycles..
Bottom line is most owners have not enough knowledge to come even close to making an addon system work over the long term, considering all the actions and reactions that are possible.
BTW, there are lots of people with degrees that do nutty things you would expect better of them at there education levels. They usually try things outside their expertise and become like every one else.

This guy has a prize for the first person to prove their water setup works.

Everyone builds one that works, right?

Okay, get your money. A million bucks or whatever.
