Project Faster150!!!

thought about due time i start a thread of my own since its nearing time to start putting the new engine together. still waiting on a few small things but ill post the progress so far

currently im tearing down and cleaning up the parts from the parts motor i got this weekend. 4.6L romeo with 220K miles still runs. had a coolant leak so the guy pulled the motor. hole in coolant passage of the head.





got them cleaned up nice and ground off any casting seams that might cause restriction or oil build up.

specs of whats going on it..
Heads:
Port Pros custom ported heads. 217CFM intake 167 exhaust.
Ferrea 6000 series valves.
Patriot .600 lift springs. Titanium Retainers and Valve seats
Comp Cams XE270AH

Short Block:
Windsor, stock bore, Seasoned, and honed block.
Ross Forged Aluminum Pistons with Seal all rings
Manley Forged I-beam rods with ARP2000bolts 800hp@8000rpm rated
Speed-pro competition series Main and rod bearings
Arp Head and Main bolts.

Intake:
BBK twin 65mm Throttle body
Bullitt Ported n Polished Intake Manifold

Transmission:
Built 4r70W
Edge Pro Street 3-Disc 3,200stall converter
Drilled, Sonnax Valved, valve body
Hayden 1405 Transmission cooler

Exhaust:
Kooks Custom fitted long tubes
Magnaflow X-pipe
Ravin DI/DO Muffler

The Sneeze:
ATI P1sc with 2-core inter cooler

waiting on..

missing nut from the rod cap
one intake Valve
intake porting
getting the spark plug holes inserted
balancing
MMR Oil Pump
Fuel Pressure Regulator
then it can go together!

Will the elbow and maf as shown actually fit? Blow thru, as shown in the pic?

Why would you spend alll that money and NOT put a 5.4 in it?

what compression?
what stroke?
are you going to run a blow or draw thru MA?
what size injectors?


why not a 5.4? you could have used adapter plates and had them ported and polished to match the heads and 4.6 intake

nope, now he has an excuse for when neals goes faster, hahahaha, just kiddin faster looks like a pretty sweet build up. looks like you got all your ducks in a row
