What is 'tuner' some are talking about to fix hesitation ?

 

On the 2004+ truck they have a drive by wire the some are reporting a hesitation. I think in your case with a 97 if you have a hesitation your problem lies else where. Tuner is really a programmer that replaces your trucks stock computer program Gryphon or edge that kind of deal..
