Question about towing hooks at front

I just bought a pair on e-bay and wonder what size bolts hold them to the frame?
Also there are holes in the frame but not any welded nuts that the bolts would screw into. Can't imagine that the bolt thread will only grab the thickness of the frame member (1/8" ?).
Thanks

There plate nuts/bolt. I'm not sure where to get these without looking around. But how they work - A metal rectangular fastener with a nut attacted to it. They slide inside the framrail (I use a magnet for placement and retraction) and line up over the holes. The rectangular section that the nuts fastened to prevent it from spinning inside the frame rail.

You know what I mean?

BTW - That plate adds support - it's pretty heavy stuff.

Heres a PDF of it, shows everything - http://fileresource.sitepro.com/file...BB05EF6A09.pdf

You also need to worry a bit more than about the size of the bolts. Make sure the ones you get are grade 8 bolts.

I made my own plate, 1/4 steel, nuts welded to the plate, cut the plate as small as it will go beyond the nuts and drop it through the frame slots. Could have done a better job at cutting the valance out but it looks fine from 5 feet.
