Help out a newbie

New to your forum and already you folks have been a big help. Just upgraded from Subaru to 02 f-150,FX4, w/ 110K on 5.4L motor.

I had a loping issue when cold so I pulled and clean the TB, IAC, EGR port. Admittedly, the truck runs better, more responsive and less dramatic lope, but still have it when cold

Can you offer some other suggestions that a guy w/o any Ford experience can solve this issue.

Also, and more importantly is the upcoming winter and any tips anyone can give as to any modifications to consider before the cold and dark. Other than moving of course

Thanks for your help,
Matt

I would recommend spark plugs and COPS along with a fuel filter.
