spark plug wire info

spark plug wire info

well i put new wires in my truck about 4 months ago and i'm guessing i need new ones again is there any reasons to why wires fail , my last post was need help if you need to know more info on the subject but it's come down to putting new wires in again and just asking what could make them not work . thanks again for all the help

well if you got cheap wires that maybe your problem. if the wires are arking then that would cause them to be bad. or if the broke inside the boots. if they are autozone wires then that is your most likely answer. i'd recommend the napa beldin wires or th factory wires. and dont forget di-electric grease.

Bosch wires are for European cars. Get OEM Motorcraft wires, and as already said, don't forget the dielectric grease.

If you also put Bosch plugs in, those need to go too.

NAPA or Adv auto parts will have Motorcraft wires. i did this i got fed up. i bought boush and 30 dollar wires the frist time. the autolite plugs then ig ot fed up with sparkplugs and what not. Got Motorcraft coil packs 90 each 180 for both. motorcraft wires 112. and motorcraft plugs 1.12 each. my truck hasnt given me a prob in 6 months. Triton motors arent happy unless it says motorcraft on it belive me i know!
