my uncle has a srt10 and a lightning. lightning will blow the doors off of srt10 anyday.

When I had a ranger and was a frequent at ranger-forums.com I saw it. Alot of guys run 302's in their Rangers, one guy has a 3xx motor (302 with massive work) and is going to paint his truck pink. Another guy has a full built motor and S/C and is now going to get it goin to run around a track.

 

Does that Ranger have a 302 in it??

I didn't know the RAM SRT 10 came in the Quad Cab?? Yeah, I know it has the badges on the doors and all, but if that's the case, then I've been out of the loop on it (I always thought it was a reg cab and only had the 6 speed manual trans.....) The video clearly shows the Quad and at the very end you can see the auto gear shift and the indicater panel on the dash??

Quad cabs are all auto, Reg cabs are 6 speeds

my uncle has the quad cab with the 4 speed auto. it is the same auto found behind the Cummins.

 

This is true, they made a couple minor changes so that everything worked with the Viper motor. That is a very stout tranny

 

Thanks for the update on the Quad Cab part of it.... I didn't know they started doing that with the SRT 10.

I'll bet that thing weighs in at around #4500-#5000 or so! The Ranger probably weighs around #3500-#4000. Power to weight ratio would go to the Ranger I'd say...

I like the fact that the Ranger has his tailgate down too!! ha, ha!! Maybe he was trying to give the RAM a little handicap?? (because that could have actually 'slowed' him down some!)
