its right behind the panel to choose a/c or vent and defrost and all that good stuff. the **** slides right onto the switch. do you feel the air blowing through the vents at all times?

You could unplug the compressor clutch and see if it's still turning, if it does then you know its a clutch problem. Just make damn sure the engine is off before you do it and that the wire is clear of it too.

READ YOUR OWNER'S MANUAL!

It tells you how the system is supposed to work. After reading your manual, determine if the system is working as designed. If not, then it is possible to help.

you do realize that the only setting that doesnt turn the ac on is panel. all other settings will actually turn the ac on.

Question Might be overlooking the *****...

I had a similar issue with my 1998... it was 2 cracked ***** spinning freely on shafts.

Pull your existing ***** straight off and check for cracks where the **** goes over the shaft... if its cracked you need new ones!
