Regular Maintenance

Well I'm not new to having a truck, have own my 2001 4.2L four years this christmas. she has 117,600 miles on her. i know the regular maintenance (i.e oil change, tire pressure, spark plugs, etc.) and was wondering what else i can do to help her run smoother and more efficient.

List of mods:
--K&N '77 series CAI
--18" magnaflow si/do
--Xcal 3 w/ VMP custom tunes

a few things i was wondering about...
--when it comes to replacing O2 sensors, should i do all at one time? and in which of the 4 cats are they located in?

--also, would a possible vacuum leak(or exhaust leak) hurt the efficiency?

also what other things (that i havent done) can you guys give some tips on??

thanks in advance!

i like a good fuel filter at about 25-30 thousand miles, fuel injection service at about 10-15 thousand (i actually do it every 3 fill ups) and techron in the gas tank to clean out the fuel lines, when you change your oil do an engine flush to flush out all that sludgy oil, i do this about every 3 oil changes, transmission service too man, i like a bottle of lucas in the tranny and the engine and if you change the 02 sensors just change the front 2, dont worry about the rear 2 unless you just really wanna change them, change coil packs too. and do a rear diff service as well..just to help that rear end spin a little better.

as far as the fuel economy yea a crack or hole in the vacum line could probably hurt MPG's

Regular maintanence

I'll shoot straight with you. Hook up with a garage you know and trust. Each time you take your truck in for an oil change give the guy instructions to look the truck over and anything that is worn or broken--fix it.

I have that relationship with my mechanic. My 2000 Lariat has 218,000 miles on it. Keep up with the truck and it will keep delivering for you.
