Can someone else please help me!! My buddie put a throttle body spacer on his 02 f150 5.4L and he says it improved his MPG and Horsepower. Now I put one on my truck, and I went from getting 15mpg stock to 13.8mpg with it on there and didn't notice a difference in horsepower! Am I crazy or are these bogus and a waste of money!!!

 

they are a complete waste of time.

tell your friend to shove it next time he tells you one of those things increased anything but the weight of the truck.

you do get that cool whistle though

Nice buddy..He knew it sucked so he wanted you to find out also..give the spacer to him and tell him to put both on his truck...double the gas mileage...

 

hopefully the annoying whistle will double in volume too
